In God’s Kairos, Goodness is overflowing as Paulinians de-stress their minds and jam together while showcasing their admirable talents on the last day of this year’s University Week.

For the third and last day of the University Week, a liturgy, and an opening message from Dr. Mary Grace Leongson, Vice President of Academics and Research commenced the program. Dr. Amelia Butial and Mr. Roel Supendio, the chair and co-chair of University Week, as well as the Student Chairs, Earl David Ong and Jasmine Kalaw, also offered their welcome speeches and discussed the upcoming events for today. After that, to formally start day three, a relaxing session organized by the College of Music and Performing Arts in partnership with the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences and SPU Music Therapy Department took place. The event was titled, “Music for Wellness Through Music’’, an interactive and comforting therapy session that uses music to increase mobility and help reduce the anxiety of its audience. It was streamed via zoom and attended by Paulinians from different colleges and faculty members.

Next, the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences also conducted a webinar in collaboration with SPU Manila pro-life entitled “Waiting for God’s Perfect Timing: Love & Life Webinar.” It was aired live through Zoom and Youtube. The discussion was headed by Mr. James Michaelson, a missionary from the Live Pure Movement who talked about perfect timing in love and how God helps us find true love. Ms. Nieve Rupido, one of his colleagues, also shared her experiences on how she waited for her true love through God’s perfect time. After the discussion, a short question and answer portion and some games for the audience happened led by Ms. Karly De La Cruz, the president of the CNAHS Student Council. The program was hosted by Ms. Carla Mae Toling and Mr. Osmel Gerardo. After the webinar, the last part of “Love, Finally” was streamed. The segment break was organized by the Paulinian Edge 365 and Supreme Student Council. It was also hosted by Franchesca Faylona, Kayla Pasion, Mika Navarro, Angelina De Vera and Bea Villanueva. Aside from the usual messages and song dedications, the last “Love, Finally” became even more special as they featured Dr. Amelia Butial and Dr. Brian Bantugan, two of the hosts of Paulinian Edge 365 Finally, Friday.

Lastly, the university week concluded with the much anticipated Paulinian Jamming. The afternoon event, hosted by the Supreme Student Council, was streamed live online, showcasing the talent and charisma of students, faculty, and guest artists. With Kate Ignacio from the College of Arts and Sciences and Earl David Ong from the College of Business and Management as masters of ceremony, the jamming had thrill-filled performances, games, and a raffle with grand prizes: cash, Bluetooth earphones, and a tablet- awaiting the university’s enrolled, viewers. Nearing the event’s closure, greetings flooded in from alumni, faculty, and prominent public figures, following the recognition of the Paulinian Bible Quiz Bee’s winners. Event directors, Dr. Amelia Butial, and Mr. Roel Supendio gave their remarks, reminders, and gratitude, towards the various student organizations and college councils behind the success of the 3-day celebration. With the Paulinian Prayer and Paulinian Mission song, 2022’s ‘Univ-week’ wrapped up, proving that God’s Kairos guarantees Goodness Overflowing.
